14.01.2007 - European Connection Issues
It has come to our attenton the past few days that many players in Europe have problems connecting to our server, and if they do manage to connect, they have a lot of lag. This is not due to our server hardware or our provider. There have been *confirmed* reports of bad routers inside the Cogent ISP, which many European players route through on the way to our server. We have done some trace routes and found many packets drop between the server and Europe due to these Cogent routers.

We have begun talking to our Datacenter and asking them to contact the Cogent ISP so that we can fix these issues. We are doing everything we can at the moment to help European players play without issues. There will be more information posted in the future, but until then, just understand that we are doing everything we can to fix the problems caused by the Cogent ISP. This is *not* Supreme L2's fault. It is Cogent's fault.

If you wish to help us as well, call/e-mail your ISP and complain that you have poor routing between Europe and Chicago, USA, and that Cogent has bad routers that need to be fixed. Tell them the host you are trying to connect to has *proof* it is Cogent's fault and that you *demand* they get it fixed.

Hopefully all of ths will be fixed soon. We apologize, but this was never our fault in the first place. Our Datacenter has great lines, but unfortunately Cogent does not.

13.01.2007 - Small Patch Update
There has been a small upgrade to the patch released yesterday. It is required that you update using the auto updater or download the system file manually from one of the links below.

This patch update fixes issues with L2.exe not starting.

You *must* update to be able to login. This patch is required.

Can't Login?
Try deleting/renaming the "system" folder and running the updater again.
Make sure you have allowed L2 to access the internet through your firewall.
People have reported Kapersky Antivirus will block l2.exe. Try uninstalling it.
Other people have reported Net Limiter v1.3 will make L2 unable to play. Try uninstalling it.

13.01.2007 - Autoupdater done, Open beta Welcome!
Okey. Now SupremeL2 is starting again. We as your heard we got a new server, i promise you, it will not disapoint you. Now to the deal.
The new autoupdater "should" solve all the create-files issues.
It also goes by a crc-check on each of the system files. That should make sure you don't need to update ALL the files each time you update.
Also, Now your screenshots and option.ini won't get deleted (YAY).

-------------- HELP ---------------

You need to place the updater in the LINEAGE II ROOT FOLDER!
Do not i repeat, do not place it elsewhere. The Root folder means, the dir
which you normally will find the orginal NCSOFT updater in.
For example (C:\Program Files\Lineage II )

Where the crap do i download this?

PLUS

If you are not successful with launching Lineage II from the auto-updater.
Go into the system dir and launch l2.exe from there.

Do remember, You need to make sure your firewall has allowed all the connections l2 uses.

You can NOT alter the user.ini, this will result in the game not running.

IF

If this does not work for you, try manually unpack [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] into your Lineage II Root folder.

If this does not work either, I'd suggest a FULL re-download of The LineageII Chronicle C5 Client. That means, delete everything except the NCSOFT updater
and PATCHW32.DLL

Once the NCSOFT updater is done, Once again get the SupremeL2 Autoupdater, and Update with it.

If you get a "I/O Error 32" while updating, it means you still have something from within the lineage II system-dir running. Press CTRL-ALT-DELETE and shutdown a few processes that you won't need.

So, like this:

1. Delete everything except LineageII.exe (NCSOFT autoupdater)
and PATCHW32.DLL.
2. Let the LineageII.exe (NCSOFT autoupdater) finish.
3. Get the Supreme Autoupdater from:

4. Press Update in the Supreme Autoupdater. Wait until it tells you Ready
5. Go Into your system folder and launch l2.exe from there.

Repeat the initial help if this still does not work.

If this does not work either, you should heavly consider to format your computer. -.-
